In addition to the Pan-Asian American Games' ELITE division, there is now an INTERMEDIATE division for teams looking for lighter competitive fare.
Think of it as the "Asian American Olympics" and basketball is the inaugural event. Be one of twelve teams to represent your Pan-Asian American background in a two-day basketball tournament to find one Asian American champion.Teams play a minimum (3) round robin games on Saturday and all teams that qualify for the playoffs will continue tournament play on Sunday. Games will be scheduled as early as 9:00am on Saturday (7/18) and 10:00am on Sunday (7/19).
Eligible nationalities include East Asians, South Asians, Middle Easterners, Western Asians, Southeast Asians and Pacific Islanders. - 10:00 min running quarters
- Fusion of NBA and FIBA rules.
- Every team is guaranteed (3) round robin games.
- (2) IAABO officials for all games, (3) for Championship.
- (10) tournament t-shirts for all registered teams.
- Video highlights uploaded to tournament site.
- Medals awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
- Trophy awarded to Champions and tourney MVP.
TOURNAMENT ENTRY is $550.00 per team. A $100.00 deposit is required to hold a spot in the tournament. All entry fees are due by July 7th or a $100.00 penalty will be assessed.
