TOURNAMENT RECAP
SIPAG came in chock full of experience, talent and athleticism. Coach Lauren Albano had the ladies ready for battle. Point (F) Karen Deleon would be a mismatch for all the teams throughout the day. Her soft shooting touch and footwork in the paint makes her a difficult check for guards and forwards alike. (F) Cadie Chu was an offensive spark off the bench and an underrated rebounder (averaged 7 rebounds per game).
Defensive stalwarts (G) Rochelle Retirado (avg 5 steals per game in pool play) and (G) Jordan Chan orchestrated a press that led to easy baskets. (G) Marie Tinana and (G) Chanel Banta were shooting guards that let it fly from beyond the arc. The sisters (G) Leia Albano and (G) Lara Albano complimented the team with their unselfish play and hustle.
